RVTV Newton Tailgate presented by Advantage Credit Union | Friday, September 6

For the first time, WHO 13 TV’s RVTV is making a stop in Newton in its tour leading up to the Iowa-Iowa State CyHawk game. On Friday, September 6 the RVTV crew will roll into Newton ready to celebrate not only the game but the community, as well.

The tailgate, which includes a pep rally, games, contests and the RVTV broadcast from WHO-TV, will take place in downtown Newton starting at 4 p.m.! Damon Dotson will perform on stage from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.!

Schedule of Events

3:30 p.m. - Get downtown early! Food trucks and beverage tent open at 3:30 p.m. and the first live broadcast/pep rally begin at 4 p.m.
4 p.m. - RVTV Live Broadcast (WHOTV)
4 p.m. - Newton High School Pep Rally
4:30 p.m. - Games and contests begin
5 p.m. - RVTV Live Broadcast (WHOTV)
5:30 p.m. - Damon Dotson Concert
6 p.m. - RVTV Live Broadcast (WHOTV)
8:00 p.m. - Tailgate Ends

The RVTV lineup for 2024 starts Sept. 2 in Perry and continues each day to Mitchellville, Oskaloosa, Baxter and Newton before landing in Iowa City Sept. 7 for game day.
